The History of
ILA Berlin began in 1909, and it was the first international independent air show. Originally held in Frankfurt am Main, it featured over 500 exhibitors, hosting 1.5 million visitors. Since then, it evolved and moved to Berlin, becoming a biennial event that showcases advancements in aviation, space travel, and defense technology.
Today, ILA Berlin is still adapting, in reflection of the rapid progress felt in the aerospace industry. It’s a converging point where aviation, defense, space, and supply chain leaders converge.
